OCR: Syzygy High Score Utility Program ====== ==== (C) 1992 by Keith Johnson Purpose The sole purpose of this program is to provide high score table resetting. It really doesn't need to be included, but I did for 2 reasons: A) Maybe you actually WANT to reset your high scores. It was originally written during development separately to cut down on the size of Syzygy and to keep the code less cluttered for me. B) Suppose you trash your high score file somehow? If this ever happened, then Syzygy would never run again. So keep this file around ! Using the program The program will look in the current directory (this should be the directory that the actual game is in) for the file "SyzygyHi.abk." If it finds it, you' 11 be asked which high score tables you want to clear (notice you are not asked if you want to clear the champion scores). After you answer yes or no to each question, the program makes the modifications (if any) you requested and terminates. If it doesn't find it, it'll make a new "SyzygyHi.abk" file with all scores 0 in the regular high score charts and default champion scores . If you change your mind, you can hit CTRL-C at any time to kill the program. However, anytime the program says "DONE" next to something, it's too late to undo it. The big thing to remember is when it says "Saving file .. . DONE," nothing you do will bring your scores back. So be sure you hit the right keys along the way. It's always a good idea to keep a backup of the file before you modify it. If everything works, then kill the original. (This program really is self-explanatory, but I made this file anyway just to be consistent. )
